The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Vassar College invites applications for a 3-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics, beginning fall semester 2022 through spring semester 2025.

Position Description

The candidate should have a Ph.D. in physics or related field and a commitment to undergraduate education. Experimental experience and previous teaching experience is a plus. The teaching load is five courses per year. The candidate would have access to undergraduate research assistants. Vassar has an Undergraduate Research Summer Institute (URSI) and is a member of the Keck Northeast Astronomy Consortium.
