Physics Education Research, Tenure-Track Faculty

The Department of Physics at Oregon State University (OSU) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position (Assistant Professor rank) in physics education research. The successful candidate will engage in research that expands or complements the current areas of physics education research at OSU. These areas include sense making and representational fluency in upper-division physics.

The Department of Physics at Oregon State University has research groups in the areas of astrophysics, biophysics, condensed matter physics, high energy physics, optical physics, physics education, and quantum cosmology. OSU conducts discipline-based education research across the College of Science, the College of Engineering, the College of Education, and the STEM Research Center. Additionally, OSU fosters a vibrant community involved in the scholarship of teaching and learning.
