Two-Year Visiting Assistant Professor
Davidson College invites applications for a two-year position at the level of Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics starting July 1, 2022. We seek a physicist who will primarily teach courses in introductory physics, particularly in studio (combined lecture and laboratory) format. Depending on interest and experience, teaching an upper-level course may also be possible. The college teaching expectation is five classes per year. Candidates are also expected to be highly committed to excellence in both undergraduate teaching and scholarly research. Candidates must possess a PhD in Physics or a related field prior to the start date.
