The Physics Department at Kent State University invites applicants for a full-time, nine- month, non-tenure track (NTT) faculty position beginning Fall 2022 semester. The successful candidate will be appointed at an academic rank appropriate to his or her credentials.

The successful candidate is expected to teach and develop multiple introductory undergraduate courses and laboratories for science and non-science majors. Additional duties may include advising of undergraduate majors and taking part in community outreach and recruiting activities.

A master’s degree in physics or a related area is required, while a doctoral degree is preferred. Teaching experience in physics is required. Experience in teaching and developing courses using online technologies is a plus.
